“Move Live on Tour” played the last of its 48-show tour in Los Angeles, California, at the famous Orpheum Theater on July 26…. an it was SOLD OUT (of course!). This was a homecoming for Derek, Julianne, and many of the dancers after an exhausting, yet fulfilling, two months of constant performing, traveling, and dancing. Many of Derek and Julianne’s loved ones and friends came to support them in this last show including their parents Bruce and Marrianne, Shirley Ballas; Julianne’s friends Cara Santana & Pia Toscano; and Derek’s DWTS Season 18 partner, Amy Purdy!

“Move Live on Tour” supervising choreographer, Kyle Hanagami, also attended the last show and this is what he had to say:

In fact… Derek, Julianne, and all of the MOVE dancers were very reflective of their last show in LA. They were all incredibly GRATEFUL for the experience and thankful to the fans. Check out their wonderful tweets and comments about this last show and the tour.

Even though this was the last show of the tour…. Derek has alluded to the idea that the tour was SO SUCCESSFUL that they could be going on tour again, as soon as “next year”. I am sure that this piece of news made many people very happy! So until next year…. 😉 But another small “Move Live on Tour” treat was that Derek and the MOVE dancers performed one of their numbers on the “Young Hollywood Awards”. I have a post coming up on that as well! =)

We even have a wonderful video of Derek and Julianne’s ‘Goodbye Speech’ and the the cast giving each other hugs. Please check them out below. This is my favorite photo from the last show…. =)

‘Move Live on Tour’ went down south to Riverside, California, for a SOLD OUT matinee and night show at the Fox Performing Arts Center on July 19! Since Riverside is so close to Los Angeles, many of Derek and Julianne’s friends came out to the show. We also saw our co-creators/directors Napoleon and Tabitha (NAPPYTABS) at the show supporting their beloved cast & crew. It was so good to see them again with Derek, Julianne, and all the MOVE dancers.

congratulations to Derek Hough and Nappytabs!!!! There is some amazing news to celebrate! Derek was nominated for his 6th Emmy for Best Choreography, as well as, Nappytabs (Napoleon and Tabitha D’umo) for their 4th time for the Best Choreograpy Emmy! ‘Move Live on Tour’ is so lucky to have such talented, respected, and loved choreographers working on the tour. SOme of you might not know that there is a deep friendship between Derek and Nappytabs, which started from when they met on the set of Derek’s first movie, “Make Your Move”. Derek starred in the movie and Nappytabs were the choreographers, creating tap, lyrical hip hop, and contemporary dances for Derek!

Red Bank Sbaccala

Another SOLD OUT show for ‘Move Live on Tour’ at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, New Jersey, on June 24 2014! But first the cast & crew enjoyed a much needed day off yesterday. It sounds like the Move Dancers relaxed in NJ, while Julianne celebrated her boyfriend’s (Brooks Laich) birthday, and Derek did some sightseeing in NYC (including the 9-11 Memorial). We also found out that NappyTabs is working on a mystery project for Broadyway! Congratulations to Napoleon and Tabitha!

But another reason that Derek was in NYC was because he has a surprise guest appearance on The View this morning! Check out photos and video at PureDerekHough!

Check out this review from Robert Johnson at NJ.com who went to the NYC Broadway show…. Don’t agree with some of it though!

Check out these great miscellaneous photos and videos from the cast & crew, as well as, the fans … Then check out all the great tweets, photos, and videos from the fans tonight at Count Basie Theatre!
