‘Move Live on Tour’ went down south to Riverside, California, for a SOLD OUT matinee and night show at the Fox Performing Arts Center on July 19! Since Riverside is so close to Los Angeles, many of Derek and Julianne’s friends came out to the show. We also saw our co-creators/directors Napoleon and Tabitha (NAPPYTABS) at the show supporting their beloved cast & crew. It was so good to see them again with Derek, Julianne, and all the MOVE dancers.
Check out all the fun miscellaneous photos from the cast, crew, and fans!

Once again, the Riverside fans were amazed by “Move Live on Tour”! Checkout all the fun tweets, photos, and videos that I found from the Riverside fans!
congratulations to Derek Hough and Nappytabs!!!! There is some amazing news to celebrate! Derek was nominated for his 6th Emmy for Best Choreography, as well as, Nappytabs (Napoleon and Tabitha D’umo) for their 4th time for the Best Choreograpy Emmy! Both Derek and Nappytabs were nominated in 2013 for the same award, with Derek winning the award on the Primetime Emmys telecast last year!
‘Move Live on Tour’ is so lucky to have such talented, respected, and loved choreographers working on the tour. SOme of you might not know that there is a deep friendship between Derek and Nappytabs, which started from when they met on the set of Derek’s first movie, “Make Your Move”. Derek starred in the movie and Nappytabs were the choreographers, creating tap, lyrical hip hop, and contemporary dances for Derek!
Check out the three nominated dances by Derek Hough. Ameksa features Artem, Henry, and Kathryn Mccormick (Step Up Revolution/SYTYCD). Human and Too Darn Hot feature Amy Purdy!
Ameksa (Contemporary Paso Doble)
Too Darn Hot (Jazz)
Below is a tweet and instagram photo from Nappytabs when they learned of their nomination! So humble and grateful! Check out their nominated dances from ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ below!
Julianne and Derek were also interviewed by Kara Sewell from KWCH-12, a local news station for Wichita. It’s a 9 min interview, so we get a lot of good details! I love how they said that they do have disagreements, but they bring out the best in each other. I also love how Derek wanted to showcase his company dancers and “make them shine” because they are amazing! Derek and Julianne started as company dancers in the early DWTS tours in 2006 before either were on the show! Look at them now!!
Our ‘Move Live on Tour’ cast & crew headed out a few days earlier to their first tour stop in Park City, Kansas (Wed, May 28), to start setting up their show! From Park City, they will be taking a bus to their other tour destinations. Everyone posted so many fun pictures and videos on instagram that I have posted below!
As you can see, our cast CAN’T STOP DANCING and spreading fun wherever they are! =)
